WEDDINGS & private EVENTS
Our nearly 100-year-old dance hall with original hardwood floors is perfect for your first dance. There is space to seat 250+ guests and still have room for dancing. The long bar tables on both sides of the dance hall have more than 50 bar stools that can be used as additional seating if necessary. The dance hall includes six industrial fans to help keep it cooler in the summer and heaters for the winter. The dance hall measures 80 by 55 feet, which includes a large stage for bands or DJs. There are also picnic tables in the front enclosed area of the dance hall — perfect for cocktail hour, additional seating and star watching. *Tables and chairs are not included with the dance hall rental.
Ice House Patio/Beer Garden
This area is surrounded by beautiful 500+ year-old oak trees and long picnic tables. This area makes a beautiful setting for an outdoor ceremony, with enough room for plenty of seating. There are more than 12 acres around the dance hall and ice house boasting oak trees and natural foliage — making Albert, TX the perfect venue for an indoor or outdoor ceremony.
The Ice house, itself; makes a perfect spot for wedding parties to gather prior to the ceremony, or as a more intimate venue for a private event or party.
*Please note — the ice house is open to the public every day, but can be rented for private events on a case-by-case basis.
Our onsite facilities feature 2 separate ADA compliant restrooms just a short distance from the Dancehall and Icehouse. Additional portable restrooms (placed near the dancehall) can be made available for an additional cost.
Albert has plenty of parking available for your guests on the property, both near the icehouse and the dancehall.
Catering and Beverage Service
We welcome licensed & insured caterers. Approval of your caterer is required 30 days prior to your event. Alcohol (beer and wine) must be purchased through the Albert Ice House. Contact us for pricing. Please note there is an 20% gratuity added to the final bill. An alcohol request must be submitted 14 days prior to the event date. In addition to the bartenders, standard bar set up is included (ice, plastic cups, wine and kegs).
We accept reservations on a first-come, first-served basis. A 30% deposit of the rental fee and a signed contract are required to guarantee a reservation.
